Betty (Greener) Yuvan, 93, of Peru, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at Manor Court Peru.
Private funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Peru with Rev. William Weidenbach, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Peru City Cemetery. Private visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru.
Mrs. Yuvan was born in May 2, 1926 in Arlington to Arthur and Gertrude (Meyer) Greener. She married John Yuvan on June 28, 1947 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Peru. She worked at Westclox and JCPenny’s, Peru. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Peru and Eastern Star.
She is survived by her two children, Greg (Alicia) Yuvan and Pamela (Gary) Wiese both of Peru; five grandchildren, Jason (Bridget) Yuvan, Justin (Bonnie) Yuvan, Heather (Scott) Willoughby, Jody (Matt) Tyson and Jeffrey Wiese; and seven great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Braeden, Bianca and Molly Yuvan, William Hash, Gavin Hoye and Jax Tyson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, LeRoy Greener.
Pallbearers will be her children and grandchildren.
